Export prices of Russian wheat declined by 5 USD/t within a week




According to APK-Inform, this week, the export prices of new-crop wheat were declining in the Russian ports of Black Sea. The coming mass harvesting of wheat in the EU and the Blask Sea countries as well as the depreciation of wheat on the global market due to progress of harvesting campaign in the USA weighted on Russian prices. The upward revision of global wheat production and increase of forecast of its export from Russia in 2020/21 MY by USDA added to the prices decline. The lowering of purchasing prices on the last tender of Egypt by average 10 USD/t weighted on Russian prices as well.
