Belarus imposed the temporary ban on the exports of certain types of goods from the country, including buckwheat and buckwheat groats. The officials published the corresponding decree of the Council of Ministers #185 dd. March 31, 2020, on the National legal web-portal.
The decree prohibited to export goods regardless of their country of origin, including when they are put under the customs procedures of exports, temporary exports, processing outside the customs territory, and re-exports.
Also, the ban covers the goods that were put under the customs procedures before the entry into force of the reporting decree, and which actual exports from the territory of Belarus in accordance with the customs procedures, will be realized after its entry into force.
The main provisions of the decree come into force after its official publication, and will be in effect for 3 months.
