In January-September, Russia reduced the imports of soybeans — Federal Customs Service




For the first 9 months of 2019, Russia imported 1.58 mln tonnes of soybeans at the general sum of 615.5 mln USD. At the same time, the supplies decreased by 3.7% compared with the same period in 2018 on weight basis, and down 15.3% in monetary terms, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia on November 11.

As for grain crops, in January-September of 2019 Russia imported 128.9 thsd tonnes of wheat and meslin at 30.6 mln USD, as well as 28 thsd tonnes of corn at 94.1 mln USD, and 4.9 thsd tonnes of barley at 2.3 mln USD.

In addition, in the reporting period the supplies of palm oil to Russia totaled 757.4 at the sum of 470.9 mln USD, up 5.3% on weight basis, and down 11% in monetary terms.
