In the first quarter of 2020 FY, Kernel increased grain exports from Ukraine




In the first quarter of 2020 FY, the agricultural holding Kernel exported 1.623 mln tonnes of grains from Ukraine, up 17% compared with the same period last year, reported the press-service of the company.

In particular, external suppliers provided 1.1 mln tonnes of grains from the reporting volumes, while agricultural units of Kernel provided the remaining volumes.

According to the announcement, for July-September period grain transshipment in the export terminals in Ukraine increased by 22% — to 1.195 mln tonnes. The situation developed, due to the growth of grain export volumes from the country, as well as commissioning of the first stage of the new grain terminal TransGrainTerminal in the port of Chornomorsk.
