Kyrgyzstan to start the harvesting campaign in the current month — Prime Minister




Some regions of Kyrgyzstan can start the harvesting campaign of new crop grains at the end of the current month, declared the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, on May 6.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration, by the end of May farmers will complete all crops planting operations, and some regions will begin the first harvesting works, the Head of the government said.

At the same time, despite the current quarantine measures in the country, farmers were provided with seeds, fertilizers, petroleum products and lubricants in sufficient scale. Also, the authorities settled all irrigation issues in a timely manner.
