As of November 5, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 44.7 mln ha (in 2018 — 43.9 mln ha), or 95.7% of the forecast. The production volumes reached 122.9 mln tonnes of grains (in 2018 — 114.2 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.75 t/ha (in 2018 — 2.6 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested 77.6 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 27.5 mln ha (98%), with the yield of 2.82 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 21.5 mln tonnes of barley throughout 8.5 mln ha (96.6%), with the yield of 2.53 t/ha.
Russian agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.9 mln ha, or 75.1% of the forecast. The production volumes totaled 11.6 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.97 t/ha. Also, agrarians continued harvesting rice: the production volumes reached 1.2 mln tonnes, the harvested areas — 182 thsd ha (93.8%), and the average yield totaled 6.58 t/ha.
At the same time, agrarians already harvested sunflower seed throughout 7.7 mln ha (90%), and produced 14.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield at 1.85 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting rapeseed, and as of November 5 the areas reached 1.4 mln ha (89.7%). The production volumes reached 2.2 mln tonnes, with the yield of 1.57 t/ha.
In addition, Russia harvested soybeans throughout 2.6 mln ha (84.7%), and produced 4.3 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.66 t/ha.
Also, agrarians harvested 48.9 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 1.06 mln ha (92.2%), with the yield of 46.32 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, Russia already planted winter crops for the harvest-2020 throughout 18 mln ha, or 103.1% of the forecast (in 2018 — 17.6 mln ha).
