The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation slightly adjusted its forecast of the general harvest of grain crops in the country, reported the press-service of the Ministry on October 2.
Previously, the figures were announced at the level of 118 mln tonnes, but according to the updated estimations the harvest will reach 115-118 mln tonnes.
At the same time, the Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev still announced the previous forecast.
According to him, the general grain harvest will reach the level of nearly 118 mln tonnes, and the production of wheat will increase to 78 mln tonnes. The reporting volumes will meet the domestic needs of Russia and realize the export potential of the agro-industrial complex of the country.
